The TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G is a performance-focused smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G processor, built on a 4nm process with an octa-core CPU reaching speeds of up to 2.6GHz and an Arm Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16 and supports 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.

It features a 6.78-inch HyperLux AMOLED display with a resolution of 2644 × 1208, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, 429 PPI, and a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and supports 1.07 billion colors for detailed and vibrant visuals.

For photography, the POVA 8 Pro 5G is equipped with a 50MP main rear camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 13MP front camera. The rear design also incorporates TECNO's Alive Matrix Display, which uses Mini LED lighting for notifications and supported device activities.

A 6500mAh battery provides power for extended use and supports 45W Super Charge through a USB Type-C connection. The phone also features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou connectivity.

The POVA 8 Pro 5G also meets IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance levels under IEC 60529:2019 and IP69K under ISO 20653:2023, based on TECNO's controlled laboratory testing.
